For several years, health institutions have had a vision of care that can extend beyond. With patients saying that it was sometimes difficult to make their way to hospital for treatment, the emergence of satellite clinics came to reality.
These satellites clinics or multi-site facilities offer patients the opportunity to receive world-class care and resources while in the comfort of their own locality. DCM Systems works alongside health institutions to fulfill this vision. We offer a utility system of great value to satellite radiology facilities. The system will archive all DICOM communication between main hospital and radiology reading stations or vice-versa.
A. One to Many
Main hospital DCM PASS server sends all images to satellite sites for advanced reading or for consultants viewing. Satellite site can be any place for safekeeping. DCM Main Server can be set to verify username before giving access and to ensure security access. System administrator can also control what station can query, store or retrieve images.
B. Many to One
Satellite site DCM PASS server can send all images to a central DCM PASS server located in the main facility for permanent storage, backup and archiving. This image management allows satellite sites to free up and reuse valuable local disk space without additional cost.
